14st Union Sq
It was the last outreach of the month, and the last night for the Holes family. Shawn and his family are missionaries from Lake Placid, NY. They have been laboring with us for 4 months in Union Sq, and it has been a blessing to see a family labor together. We thank God for them and love them to pieces. and pray God continues to bless them as they continue to reach the lost with the gospel. Also visiting was a group from PA, who could sing beautifully
It was a huge crowd, our Tibetans were back, protesting the injustice from China. We waited till they were done, and we started to set up. The Brethren from PA began to sing wonderful hymns, harmonizing with one another. After a couple of beautiful hymns, the preaching began.
It was a amazing night, Christians from the area got up to to mic and shared their testimony of how God saved them. Our friends from NYSUM, were there as well, sharing with the lost. At one point if felt like a Sunday service. : ).
It is always amazing, to see power of God work in the hearts of those who hear the gospel. A young lady, Olia, was so impacted by the gospel. she kept walking away, to walk right back and listen to more preaching. I along with others had a chance to speak with Oila. The Lord allowed me to show her Isaiah 53, in which she read for herself, covering her mouth in shock as she read.
Before the night was over, sister Liliy and I prayed with Oila, then I exchanged emails with Oila, and I promised her I was going to pray everyday for her. She was deeply touched. Yesterday i got a replied back from Oila, and she still can't believe there is a heaven or hell, and that nothing is purely good or evil. Even though it wasn't the response I had hope for, I am glad she responded.
I will continue to pray for Oila, and for all those who heard the gospel. May the Lord, have mercy, and may his spirit give them no rest, until they cry out "Lord be merciful to me, a sinner"( Luke 18:13)
"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day."John 6:44

Subway Preaching
Preaching on the 1 train
Today, by the grace of God, I got on the NYC Train, to preach the gospel. Preaching the gospel in of itself, is very scary. When surrounded by like minded believers, we receive encouragement from one another, but the through test of a faith is when we are alone. God promised Jeremiah "Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you. Behold, I have put my words in your mouth."(Jeremiah 1:6&9). He told Joshua "I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you. Be strong and courageous." (Joshua 1:5-6) As God promised he's servants of old, so does he promise us, that he will be with us, he will gives us his words to speak.
Round 1
I made my way to the train station, passing out tracts along the way, I got on the train, which was empty. I waited awhile for the train cart to fill up, but in that time period, fear and doubt came over me. I started to quote to myself 2 Timothy 1:7. Around 125 st, I open up my bible to Luke 18 and i began to speak. I read the parable of the pharisee and the tax collector, and then expounded upon it.
Before I can get to the law, a lady sitting next to where I was standing, started to complain, I was too loud. I quickly apologize, and gave the reason why i had no choice, trains can become extremely noisy.
I reiterated that I come in love, then I continue to preach.

By the grace of God, I preached all the way to the last stop, South Ferry, and I could not just help but thank God, for giving me boldness, and favor with the people.
Round 2
As the train started back uptown, I again waited for the train to re-fill, around 42nd st. At 59th, I stood up and began to gain the attention of the people. I told him , my purpose for speaking, and i quoted Proverbs 24:11 " Rescue those who are being taken away to death;
hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter." I then posed this question to everyone, " If you see a blind man walking toward a cliff, what would you do? what you warn him, or keep silence"

With that said, I open once again to Luke 18: 9-14, the Parable of the pharisee, and tax collector, and
again expounded on upon the passage, and explained how many people are just like the pharisee, in that, they judge themselves by comparing themselves with others, and they boast to God in what they do. The message was bringing mighty conviction, and the holy Spirit was working on the hearts of the people.

As I continue, I began to hear someone shushing me, I began to look to see where it was coming from, as I preached, but couldn't find the person. Again the shush noise, started, and another lady, spoke up, and sad " I want to listen to what he's saying". And with that the guilty party was revealed.
I began to go through the law, while the shushing continue and continue. The lady that was doing the shushing , was extremely convicted, she could not stay still. God was working in her, and I told everyone that the message is foolishness to those who are perishing" and that it was a offensive to those who wont believe.
Towards the end of the train ride home, the lady could do nothing but swarm in her seat, and make shushing noises. I turned to her, and spoke in love, and said I was preaching in love, and hope that everyone will consider the message. As she got off, I told her I would be praying for her.
I ended the train ride by speaking to a group of young teens, and gave them the full gospel. I do pray for everyone who heard the message. I pray the holy spirit will give them no rest, and God will have mercy on them, and saved them, for his glory and namesake.
or speak any more in his name,"
there is in my heart as it were a burning fire
shut up in my bones,
and I am weary with holding it in,
and I cannot."
Grace to you all

My brother and sisters, all glory and honor belongs to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.By laying down his life, he brought salvation to us all, and died for all who would believe. I encourage you, if you feel alone, to trust God, take him at his word, and his promises. Take that step of faith, that step of obedience, and marvel of what God can do through you.

Repent and witness 2008

Matthew 9:37-39
"Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."
"Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."
Day 1:
As the boot campers rolled in to NYSUM, the expectation was high. With it being the first evangelism boot camp for many, and the first CCN boot camp, the leader could only trust in the Lord, that he will move in a mighty way.The boot campers got to meet and greet one another, and friendships were formed.

Day 2:
It was the first day of battle and the first they of learning humility, and what it means to"count others more important then yourself, making myself of no reputation, by being a servant to my brothers and sisters. In Phil 2-3-8 Christ made him self of no reputation, becoming a servant. Christ humbled himself and was obedient to the Father, by becoming the propitiation for those who would believe in Him.
We began the day by walking to Nueva Vida. once there, we had a time of worship and prayer. Our first speaker of the week was John Chrisham AKA ChiZZZZ WIZZ ( Sorry I had too LOL) The message was powerful, and everyone had to examine themselves.
Our first location was Penn Station, and the boot campers wasted no time preaching in the heart of NYC. To watch each one get up and open was truly awesome. I can honestly say they made my job easy. Everywhere i turned someone was in a one to one and even one to three. I remember one lady balling in tears as one of the boot campers/ccn member was gently speaking to her.
Around 4pm we were reminded that God is sovereign, and he is in control. As the clouds rolled in, and the wind picked up, we knew we had to pack up it and move it out. We enjoy fellowship at my favorite spot, Dallas BBQ. (just writing about it makes me hungry lol)
After getting our crumb on, we headed back into battle at times sq. God continue to show us favor. One young man was so convicted as a brother pleaded with him in tears.

Day 3:
We made our way back to Nueva Vida. We had a awesome time in prayer and worship. Our guest speaker was Shawn Holes, who delivered a encouraging message to us all.
Battery Park, Staten Island Ferry! A place very familiar to the local team, was about to get be visited by believers from around the states/Canada. The sisters, stood up in the mist of NY Yorkers traveling back and forth, from Manhattan to Staten Island, while the men engaged one to ones.

Lines were for Statue of Liberty Ferry were long, and boot campers, preached as people waited in line.
Union Sq! A place filled with all kinds of people from different religions, to witch craft, evolutionist, and Atheists. The boot campers set out to go to war, knowing the history of this place. As we arrived there, boot campers wasted no time in seeking and saving the lost. Around 3pm Open air preaching was on, and the boot campers, with the boldness the comes from the holy Spirit, step up to the plate. Young sisters, preached boldly to crowds. The most quietest, and gentleness one of the group, encouraged us all.

Day 4:
Testimony and Graduation! As boot campers gave their testimonies, tears were shared, and lives were encouraged. It was such a blessing to hear, what God brought people out of and how God worked in the heart and lives thorough RW(Repent and Witness).
OUr last speak was Pastor Sean . Pastor encouraged and challenged all of us to stay zealous and pure for the Lord. At the end a group of men, called to be evangelist were prayer over.

It was the last battle of RW, and Union Sq was our targeted location. The weather was cold and wet one, and as we arrived at Union Sq, the place was filled in Taiwanese , protesting against the injustice from China. As we saw the spiritual battle all around us, we began to pray fervently. The people started singing and worship their false Gods who were actually demons. One of our boot campers and local NY,who just came back from teaching at Taiwan began to preach, and the people rioted. This sister, stood firm in the mist of persecution. The cops broke up the crowd and we were forced to move for a short time.

As the night drew near, the crowd grew, and formed around the open air preaching. The oldest and mature Sisters, steeped up on the stool and [reach the gospel. the good news of of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, dying for the sns of mankind, resurrecting from the dead, and bringing salvation to all who would believe in Him.
As the night drew even darker, hecklers became loud, rude, and threaten each preacher who came up. We ended the night singing and rejoicing in the preachiing of the gospel.
Our last night together was precious to each of us. Bonds grew stronger as we broke night basking in each others presents.

Day 5
Last day, and everyone made their way back to wist they came from. Repent and Witness, was full of zealous, and like minded believers, who loved the Lord and have a burden for lost souls. Tears, where shead/shared, lives were touched, friendships were established that will last for eternity! c
But in the end, each believer must go back to their respectable place, not before we broke bread.

Psalm 133
"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore."

Mission Trip to Mississippi
Mission Trip to Mississippi
Jul y27th- August 3rd
Jul y27th- August 3rd
We left Sunday the 27th from MBC around 8:30am and started our journey to Clarksdale, Mississippi, 4 adults and 12 youths. I along with others were very nervous about the trip. On our way to a church in Knoxville, TN, we went through 6 states, and saw lots of exciting things. The ride from MBC to Knoxville was 11hrs. Trying to find a comfortable position wasn't easy. We continue our journey to Mississippi from Knoxville the next morning, which took us 8hrs. The first night we all came together with other churches who were there, and worshiped and had a time of God's word. The message was thought provoking, that one of the youths from our group was in tears, during our prayer to as a group. That night I had the opportunity to encourage him, and pray with him along with another brother.
On Tuesday the 28th, we woke we travel to our work cite in Marks, Mississippi. The weather reached 113th that day, and it was 103 at the work place. Our job was to paint a house in 4 days. The woman whose house we painted was Mrs. Elisabeth.

We started to do remove old paint chips and put prime. Then I and 5 others went around the neighborhood, knocking on doors, and inviting people to come to BBS( Bible school for Kids) I was thankful no one fainted from the heat, and I didn't get a migraine.
There was one boy, Lesley who came to our work site, and it was so funny, he tried to tell us his name, but we could not understand him one bit. We had to ask him to spell his name, but with his southern accent, we still could not understand at first, but finally we got it.
The 3rd day was just as hot as the last day. We started painting the house and the heat was no helping one-bit lol, but we did not complain, and we worked together. Our lunch for the week consist of PJ bread, fruits, and chips. : )
Around 12:20pm a group of us headed towards BBS, and it was amazing to see the people who we invited show up. BBS was amazing, we got to get to know and have fun with the kids. After BBS, we walked back to our site, with none other then Lesley : ) As soon as we got back, we shared what happen that day and prayed, and got back to work painting the house.
